How to use notice board and pictures areas

An area dedicated to members swapping information and ideas. This page is a how to use the picture and notice board facilities in this section.

Cooking Glass has dedicated this area to members to swap information and upload images to share with each other.

This is the section that allows you to do things in the Cooking Glass site.

Want to show others an image?

Maybe you want to show others what you are working on? Or get advice on a technical issue, or show someone else a way of doing something?

Here's how! Open Members pictures...

You can upload an image by selecting from the Add new tag.

Make sure the image you want to upload is in a jpeg format, and is a medium size with 72dpi resolution.

Go to 'Add new tab' and select image, several boxes will be loaded for you to complete they include:

Title box for image.
A description box for the image.
A browse box/function to locate the file to upload.
After uploading the image you can then add a comment to it. Your comment might be further description, or a question to ask other members.

The guidelines are simple:

Be brief
Make sure it is about glass, kilns etc, stuff site members come to Cooking Glass for.
Don't post advertising or promotion materials (there are other avenues for this!).
