Heat transfer

Movement of heat from a warmer to a cooler body. Modes are conduction convection and radiation. Conduction is the flow of heat through a material. convection is the transfer of heat via the movement of heated air particles. Radiation is the transfer of energy by electromagnetic waves given off by a radiating body
